Trade In & Buyback Policy
- Only genuine CERA jewellery is eligible for our Trade-In and Buy Back Programme.
- All items are subject to inspection and authentication by CERA before any valuation is provided.
- The gold value is calculated based on the current daily gold price at the time of assessment.
- Any gemstones, zirconia or decorative stones will be removed before weighing. The jewellery will be permanently altered during this process and cannot be restored to its original condition.
- Trade-In customers will receive a CERA voucher equivalent to the assessed gold value. The voucher is redeemable on a future purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Buy Back customers will receive payment via bank transfer after the valuation has been accepted.
- Shipping costs and risks are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed by CERA.
- CERA reserves the right to decline any item that does not meet our authentication or quality requirements.
- All valuations and decisions made by CERA are final.
We're happy to help you give your jewellery a second life — whether you'd like to trade it in for something new or sell it back for cash. Just follow these simple steps:
1) Snap a Photo & WhatsApp Us
Take clear photos of your jewellery and send them to our team via WhatsApp at 010-400 0080, along with a message stating whether you wish to trade in or buy back your item.
2) Post Your Jewellery to CERA HQ
Send your item to the following address:

10300 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang.
3) Stone Removal & Gold Weighing
*Please be advised that all stones will be carefully removed, and the jewellery will be damaged and cannot be restored to its original condition. Only the gold will be weighed for value assessment.
4) Gold Price Calculation
The value of your gold will be calculated based on the current daily gold price at the time of assessment.
- For Trade-In, you'll receive a voucher code equal to the gold value, which you can use to purchase other jewellery from CERA.
- For Buy Back, the amount will be transferred directly to your bank account.
